valentine's 2004

happy heart day everybody! don't usually make a big deal about valentine's, cuz everyday should be valentine's day! actually the cards and the flowers would prolly get old...but the chocolate wouldn't. mmm, chocolate. rené & i went to Hard Rock Cafe (cool atmosphere, a bit loud tho) for a drink before heading over to watch The Producers. i really enjoyed it, so many racial & prejudice comments but not offensive in the least bit. c'mon it's Mel Brooks... à la SpaceBalls genre...so whaddya expect? i'm pretty sure rené dozed off for a sec, but he won't admit it! then we went to Milestones for dindin and bellinis. was a nice night...sigh. we hardly ever go out anymore since we're so busy w/ work, school, work, work, & work. wish we could do things like that more often.

ugh...one year older!

man i suck at updating this damn blog! been really, really busy lately. so what's been going on w/ me lately...too much to write. let's see...i'm so old! had a reso @ canyon creek for my bday dinner with a few close friends. after crazy traffic and wasting way too much time looking for a parking spot lisa calls me to let me know that the restaurant is closed along w/ the rest of the restaurants along the street b/c of a gas leak of some sort. great. so we ended up @ east side mario's (eh budda boom, budda bing!). the food was nothing special and the stupid server decided to write in a 15% gratuity...in his messy printing...right on the bill...how ghetto! he didn't even deserve it...not like i'm a diva or anything but really, he was terrible. but the night was salvaged @ yukyuks...sooooo hilarious ('cept for the political jokes...i so did not understand them!). should go to comedy clubs more often! for the next night of celebrating my old age, me and the kelsey's peeps partied @ the honest lawyer. nothing fancy but nice to see everyone away from the restaurant. boy, was my face red!
